They didn't say that AG is crappy. they are just stating their response to the AG controversy of the "I Can" bracelets. I think their statement makes sense. the "I can" part is ok, but I like it better when included in the whole verse, from Philippians 4:13: "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."

Him? who exactly is him? all this "him" stuff freaks me out, I know that that means god, but I really don't see god as a guy in the sky. at all.
you are right that they talked about the AG controversy, but I hate how they say that all christians strongly appose abortion and "other liberal causes", I'm christian and I don't think that. The dolls are pretty cute alright but all vinyl dolls I do not get, I also don't like how all the clothes are so puffery and frilly, I know they are victorian but their clothes are still TOO fancey for me.

I don't like when ANY company says they are against 'other liberal, causes' Because technacely, wanting slaves to be free was liberal in earlier days. So was wanting women to be able to vote. Without liberal movements, our world would be very simple, close-minded, and would be most likey prejeduce.

I can't agree more. My family has a lot of liberal views on subjects and their all Christian. (I'm Jewish because my Mum converted when she got older. I'm not Jewish by descent). I think we need Liberal movements in this country for it to function properly. If nothing ever changed then what would we have? Like Lia said it was the liberal movements that legalised women voting. And if it weren't for liberals today then gay couples would never have a hope of getting legally married. We need conseratives too, though. If it was only one or the other than we would be at an extreme. Radicals are never a good thing.

Oh. Err, HIM is also the name of a band, thats where all the gothic stuff jacckets everywhere come from.

"HIM" has good music. My cousin went to one of their concerts and got his autograph! He said they were all really nice. The band stayed after the concert and were talking to their fans and stuff.

Yeah. I think it would be great if it were possible to fuse together tradition and new ideas, but it is very hard, and would probably take hundreds of years to fully settle those kinds of dissagreements if they ever are solved fully.

Unfortunatly there will always be radicals on both sides. I think what people need to do is look past race, religion, gender and do what's best for the people, you know?

uh-huh. well, the thing is that sometimes changing your mind is a good thing, but some people refuse to look to do something new, and then nothing can be resolved because people only want to think about past things, and nothing gets changed.
