Going Insane......I'm going insane. Seriously. Okay so there's my nextdoor neighbours..... and I don't like them to begin with, but whatever. They decide to put an "addition" on their house (Lord knows why they need one). And our homes are connected so all of the construction people have to come through MY back yard to get around to add a NEW SECTION OF THEIR BLOODY HOUSE!! Do you have any idea what adding a new room to a house sounds like? Let me demonstrate....
*BANG BANG YELL YELL HAMMER HAMMER DIG DIG!!*
Argh!! Their driving me stark raving MAD! And their going to be here for another 2 MONTHS!! Someone shoot me now.

I sympathize with you Alexa. several years ago my neighbors tore down their house to build a new one. not a house. a mansion. AND my room is shares a wall with a kitchen and we had that whole ROOM teared out to make a new one. blug. And of course a kitchen reno means KD and canned soup for dinner lunch, and a granola bar for breakfast. AND I don't go to school so I was in the house ALL DAY!

That must be hard. When I was at my old house, our next door neighbor wanted to put in a pool, but they had to use a jackhammer to get through the cement in their yard, and it was SO loud. Thankfully, it was over in a few hours, though.

Ugh yes. Thankfully they'll only be there for another... month and a half or so. When they first moved in last year they were tearing down ALL of their walls to make them "sound proof". That when on for 3-4 months. The contruction people aren't here today though *alleluia*
