Kit Kittredge is a clever, resourceful girl growing up in Cincinnati in 1934. Many people are losing their jobs, their money, and even their homes. When Kit's dad loses his job, her world gets turned upside down. Kit learns what "waste not, want not" really means, gets into very big trouble, and meets people whose lives are far worse than her own. Kit's strong spirit - and her nose for news - help her hold on to hope even when the future looks bleak from every angle.
Kit was added to the collection of American Girls in 2000, the same year that Felicity and her items began to be phased out. Kit was the fourth girl added after the collection was launched in 1986 with Kirsten, Samantha and Molly.

Lol uh I guess I just did. Everyone has different taste in books and what not, I suppose mine just........ er matured a bit?
Not saying that AG is immature or anything, I just don't enjoy reading them as much as when I was younger. |
